Eco Council

The eco-council is responsible for keeping the school eco-friendly.

We have fortnightly meetings to discuss activities and events which could take place to improve the schools environment, raise money for school funds and charities.

We will feedback to the rest of the school about what we are working on.

We want our school to be a ‘green’ environment where we work together to:

Reduce, reuse and recycle

Encourage wildlife

Save energy

Care about the world we live in

Keep healthy

All work together

We monitor our energy use in class and encourage teachers and children to recycle.  We operate a lunchtime rota where our eco warriors check and score all the classrooms and the winner receives a certificate for best Eco class of the week.

We also grow our own produce which we use in our school kitchen.
