WELCOME TO OUR SCIENCE INFORMATION PAGE

Science at Newhey

Science Is incredibly important to a child’s learning journey in primary school. It nurtures a child’s curiosity and allows them to explore the world around them. At our school we strive to deliver engaging and exciting science lessons every week that motivate our students to develop their critical thinking skills.

Science is taught every week in every year group. In nursery and reception science is taught a little differently through understanding the world. Understanding the world is an umbrella for the younger students to ask and experiment with discussions and observations.
