Details of our school uniform:

The school has an official uniform and parents/carers have the opportunity to purchase a sweatshirt, cardigan, fleece jacket, hoody, sports jacket or polo shirt embroidered with the school logo.

 

The school uniform is:

· Black flat school shoes should be worn by all pupils

 · Red sweatshirt or cardigan (school logo optional)

 · White or red polo shirt (school logo optional)

· Dark grey or black school skirt, pinafore dress, school trousers or school shorts

 · Red and white gingham (checked) dress in Summer

 · Plain white, black or grey socks or plain red, black or grey tights Optional red fleece jacket (with school logo)

 

Trainers, open-toed sandals and large, thick boots are not considered suitable footwear for school. Sensible, plain black shoes must be worn by all pupils. Black jeans and leggings are not permitted in day-to-day uniform

 

PE Kit

 

 A change of appropriate footwear (trainers, pumps etc.) is required for most PE and outdoor games lessons but children will sometimes be expected to have bare feet for Gymnastic lessons in the school hall.

The school's P.E. kit is:

Indoor

· A plain red round neck T-shirt (school logo optional)

 · Plain black shorts

 

Outdoor

· A plain red round neck T-shirt (school logo optional)

· A plain red sweatshirt (school logo optional) or a red hoody with the school logo (available to purchase from Monkhouse)

· Plain black joggers/leggings

· An optional sports jacket with the school logo (available to purchase from Monkhouse) Sporting Competitions

The school may provide additional items of clothing for sporting competitions (football matches/Netball etc).

 In the event that such activities take place outside of the school day, it is the responsibility of parents to ensure that the full kit is returned to school as soon as practically possible.

School Bag

Pupils must use an appropriately sized waterproof bag to carry their books and equipment. It should hold children’s books and reading diaries comfortably without causing any damage. Large bags / large rucksacks are discouraged for day-to-day lessons due to space on children’s pegs.

School book bags can be purchased (via the School Gateway app) from the school office.

All other items of uniform with the school's logo are available from Monkhouse/Top Form Schoolwear, 51 - 53 Drake Street, Rochdale, OL16 1RX until 31st December 2023. From January 2024 they will be available from the Oldham branch at 27 Union Street, Oldham OL1 1HA.

Water Bottle

All children should bring a water bottle into school every day: this can be refilled by children whenever necessary during the day.

Water bottles must be labelled with the pupil’s name.
