Homework
Spellings are set on a Monday for a test the following Monday. This can be found in your child’s portfolio on Class DoJo. Please feel free to practise the spellings and send a photo in so your child can be entered for a Golden Ticket.
We have a weekly times table test on a Monday. The details will be sent out on a Monday via Class DoJo. Please use Times Table Rockstars as a platform to practise along side chanting, writing them down or YouTube videos – there are lots of songs to practise along to.
SPaG.com and Maths.co.uk homework is set on alternate weeks. The passwords for these can be found in the front of your child’s reading record.
Reading books can be changed whenever your child has finished their book. Please support and encourage reading at home as often as possible and record this in the reading record. Home reading books should be kept in book bags so they can be brought into school each day.
PE
We have two PE sessions a week. On a Tuesday afternoon, the children have PE with an EdStart sports coach and on a Friday morning, they have a PE session with their class teacher.
Indoor and outdoor PE kits are required to be kept in school at all times. Please make sure each item is clearly labelled and that a change of footwear is provided.
