Our vision for Geography
At Newhey, we believe that through teaching and learning in Geography we will inspire pupils to become curious and explorative thinkers with a diverse knowledge of the world. We want pupils to develop the confidence to question and observe places, measure and record necessary data in various ways, and analyse and present their findings.
We have confidence that our teaching and learning in Geography will help to foster our pupils' natural curiosity about the world around them, this will lead to a better understanding of; British values, their values, their place in the world and a better understanding of the rights of others and cultural diversity.
