Rochdale Agreed Syllabus
This year, we are following the Rochdale Agreed Syllabus across school, lots of work has been carried out to make sure the syllabus covers wider aspects of different religions.
As part of the syllabus, we will be focusing on three main strands; Believing, Expressing and Living.
Within these strands, there will be many opportunities for discussion, drama, art and other cross curricular opportunities.
Reception children will start to explore special times, people, places and stories, Key Stage One will move on to explore Christianity, Islam and Judaism and Key Stage Two will add Hinduism and Humanism to progress their understanding further.
