Whole School Support
Mrs Belcher

I first came to Newhey CP school as a parent-quite a few years ago now. I live locally and am married with three children. All three of my children attended Newhey CP and have fond memories of the school.
I started my employment here as a lunchtime supervisor, a role which I still enjoy. I have completed lots of training over the years and continue to do so. I am now employed as a Teaching Assistant, Level 3. I have qualified in the teaching of PSHE and completed a basic counselling course. My role here at Newhey is to help support pupils’ Emotional Literacy both in and out of the classroom. This is a very rewarding job which enables me to take home a lot of job satisfaction.
I am also a member of the eco council, school council and governing body.
Out of school, I enjoy spending time with my family. I recommend Newhey CP to any parent thinking of placing their child here. I look forward to coming to work every day and feel privileged to be part of the Newhey team.
